COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Cookeville officials and community members gathered on November 7 for the grand opening of The Shoppes at Eagle Pointe, a joint venture development with CHM LLC, CBL & Associates and Browning Development.
The 228,000-square-foot shopping center includes a Publix, Academy Sports, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart and others, which opened in August, several anchor stores and smaller retailers, and a variety of restaurant options. Additional stores will be opening in the near future.
The complex is expected to generate 600 jobs and $2.4 million in annual sales tax revenue. (Read the local coverage.)
